His philosophy for executive coaching is a tailored approach based on the mantra embedded in his heart from his time in the U.S. Army, "Mission First, People Always." Dan takes into account personality, organizational structure, mission objectives, core competencies, pattern recognition, and growth. He is incredibly adept at seeing the organizational and market landscape and guiding leaders to greater levels of influence and effectiveness.

Carol Beth is passionate about people, beginning with her 25-year marriage to her husband, Dan, and their three children. Carol Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Samford University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama, she’s also a certified DiSC practitioner and licensed through “The Parent Project.”
Carol Beth previously served as Leadership Development Pastor at BCOMING Church, overseeing 1,000+ volunteers and developing innovative leadership training programs for all ages. Known for her team-building expertise, she uses practical, experiential methods to ensure lessons stick.
At Durbin Leadership, she focuses on professional development, retreats, and team-building, including the annual Student Leadership Conference. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and worshipping with loved ones.

Morgan graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Management. With experience in management and marketing roles, Morgan brings a unique mix of strategic thinking and attention to detail to her role as an executive assistant. She loves working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, tying up loose ends, and making sure the team has what they need to succeed.

Dr. Jana Lovelace is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a remarkable career spanning military psychology, private practice, and coaching. Known for her empathy and ability to challenge, she helps clients navigate life’s challenges and intentionally build a life of purpose, contentment, and fulfillment.
With expertise in counseling and coaching, Dr. Lovelace brings a unique blend of clinical insight and practical strategies to empower individuals and teams.
John Bentley​

John has 41 years of leadership experience in both military and civilian roles, including the U.S. Air Force and DOD, John specializes in workforce development, organizational change, and team coaching. Over his 27-year consulting career, he has delivered tailored programs in conflict resolution, performance improvement, and leadership coaching for clients like NASA and Alabama Farm Credit. John holds an MS in Leadership and certifications in Stakeholder Centered Coaching, Situational Leadership II, and various learning assessments.

Known for driving process improvements and fostering growth, Adam has led high-quality product deliveries at DragonFly Athletics and spearheaded Agile transformations at John Wiley & Sons, achieving double-digit growth and organizational change.

Shundra Morris

With over 30 years of dedication to education, Shundra combines her classroom expertise and leadership skills to inspire and support educators. A former 3rd-grade teacher with 23 years of experience, she now works with the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI), equipping teachers to enrich STEM education through innovative, hands-on learning.
Passionate about relationship building and professional development, Shundra is committed to creating learning opportunities that uplift educators and foster a culture of excellence. Her motto, “Serve Others, Choose Joy, Pursue Excellence, and Make a Difference,” reflects her lifelong dedication to education and community.
Matt Durbin

Matt holds bachelors degrees in philosophy and psychology from Wheaton College, the Ivy League of Evangelical education. During his time at Wheaton, he competed on the varsity wrestling team as a full-time student athlete. He now works as a business education teacher at Austin High School, where he also coaches the wrestling team. As a teacher and coach, Matt’s key strength is his ability to encourage people in their strengths while further developing their shortcomings. His life purpose is to help people think better, leading them on adventures of self-discovery and healing.

From his work as a senior contracting officer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to his roles at GE Aerospace and Davidson Technologies, Gary has a proven track record of driving impactful solutions in high-stakes environments.
Gary's passion extends beyond contracts—he is a mentor, licensed minister, and coach, dedicated to helping others chart paths to personal and professional growth. Whether mentoring young men or leading discipleship groups, Gary empowers individuals to embrace change and unlock their potential.

Brett brings unparalleled expertise in emergency medical services and disaster preparedness, with a distinguished career spanning leadership roles in the Alabama Army National Guard and healthcare organizations. As President of the Shoals Healthcare Coalition and a key member of the ADPH Hospital Preparedness Program, he has championed community health and safety through education, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Known for his dedication to excellence, Brett blends real-world experience with a passion for developing leaders equipped to handle high-pressure situations and complex challenges.
